Individual classes intensify rapid learning as the teacher can focus on your specific needs, from getting in touch with your heritage, travel, or doing business abroad.
Lesson times are flexible in order to better adapt to the student’s needs.
An Individual Course can even be added to the Standard Group Course. Adults: Class length must be at least 1 hour. It can be longer, if you wish; however, we do not suggest more than two hours per lesson.

Study Italian and meet new classmates with your same language goals. The classes are few in number, and the average number of students for each class is around 3-6. The small class size guarantees special attention to each student’s individual needs, enables teachers to get to know their students as individuals, and facilitates friendly relationships.
The daily Italian lesson consists of two parts: the first part of the lesson is mainly focused on the grammatical structure and vocabulary, whereas the second part is dedicated to the use of the language (speaking, reading, listening, and writing), focusing on expression and communication (current events, culture, lifestyle, and other topics of interest will be discussed during this part of the lesson). Lessons are 75 min. with a 5 min break. Our Courses (six levels: A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2) start every week.

The Individual Course can also be attended by two students of the same level. This course focuses on practicing real and authentic Italian scenarios through pair-work while also learning aspects of the language and culture that interest the students the most. Furthermore, two-student tuition intensifies rapid learning as the teacher can devote herself/himself to the students’ specific needs. Lesson times are extremely flexible in order to better cater to the students’ needs.

Learn Italian traditional cuisine while practicing your target language. This online cooking class has it all! This Cooking Class aims to explore typical dishes from Italian Home Made Cuisine. The class will be led by a Native Italian-speaking Chef who will explain the History of the Dish, its origins, and its preparation, speaking in Italian and English. The class will be divided into two main sections: 1) Description of the ingredients needed to prepare the dish. History of the dish, its origins, and traditions. (1 hour and 20 minutes) 2) Preparation and cooking of the dish. (Approximately 2 hours, depending on the dish) Learn hands-on cooking skills, explore traditional homemade cuisines, and master delicious recipes in our interactive classes.

Have you successfully completed your level? Request a test to assess your skills. This course concludes with a diploma in Italian issued by the school. The test is divided into 4 sections, each one dedicated to a specific language competence: Reading Writing Listening Speaking What we offer: To assist you in preparing for the test, we provide intermediate-level B1 Citizenship preparation courses.

We require 24-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid charging you for the cancelled or rescheduled class. 1 month after your payment, any unused hours will expire, and you will not be allowed a refund.
Our School creates interactive lessons that focus on both linguistic skills and cultural understanding. The teaching approach is designed to make learning effective and enjoyable, with emphasis on:
Conversation practice: Encouraging students to speak ad use the language in real-life situations.
Grammar and vocabulary: Building a solid foundation to ensure understanding and speaking.

All courses are taught by a DITALS Certified Italian Professor. Particular importance is given to daily spoken Italian, oral expression, understanding and the ability to express oneself in many different situations.
Based on the results of our online test, students are placed in the class corresponding to their level of knowledge of the language. The CEFR (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) defines six common reference levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
Students have the option to purchase their own textbook, Il Nuovo Affresco Italiano, once we have assessed their level.

Standard Group Course
8 Lesson Package: $250 +HST / person
Lessons are 75 min. with a 5 min. break and will take place online through Zoom. The class sizes are small (max. 6) which guarantees special attention to each student’s individual needs.
Each lesson consists of two parts: the first part focuses on grammatical structure and vocabulary, the second part is dedicated to the use of the Italian language (speaking, reading, listening and writing) focusing on expression and communication of current events, Italian culture and lifestyle.
A0 Absolute Beginner: Mondays 10:30 a.m.-11:45 p.m. or 4:30-5:45 p.m.
A1 Beginner: Tuesdays 10 a.m.-11:15 p.m. or 4:30-5:45 p.m.
A2 Elementary: Wednesdays 10 a.m.-11:15 p.m. or 4:30-5:45 p.m.
B1 Intermediate: Thursdays 10 a.m.-11:15 p.m. or 4:30-5:45 p.m.
B2 Upper Intermediate: Fridays 4:30 – 5:45 p.m.
Travellers’ Course
10 Lesson Package: $550 +HST/ person
Lessons are 75 min. with a 5 min. break and will take place online through Zoom. The class sizes are small (max. 6) which guarantees special attention to each student’s individual needs.
This course prepares students for their next big trip to Italy: focusing on vocabulary and expressions needed for ordering at restaurants, shopping, booking tickets, etc. Travel with confidence and immerseyourself with the locals. Your teacher is an Italian native who can offer insight and advice on food, sightseeing and local customs and culture.
This course is available for two students of the same level. It focuses on practicing authentic scenarios through pair-work while also teaching aspects of the Italian language and culture that interest the students the most.
Two-student classes intensify rapid learning as the teacher can devote himself to the students’ specific needs. Lesson times are extremely flexible in order to cater better to the students’ schedules.
A Two-Student Course can even be added to a Group Course.
Business Course
This course is tailored to those who need to have a good command of the Italian language for their working and daily life. Practical activities will be taught during the lessons – including presentation skills, negotiating, participating in and chairing meetings, telephone calls and emails, business vocabulary, as well as more traditional grammar lessons.
This course is offered to employees of companies of various fields, such as professional firms, embassies, universities, international organizations, etc. Lessons can be held online or at the workplace and can be organized for a single student or for a small group.
The course length, number of lessons and the program will be agreed upon according to the group’s needs and requirements.
